Every since we first debuted Cupcake Girls it has been one of our most popular pieces! It's a great crossover piece...bridging the gap of classic vintage collectibles and yummy sweets. After painting a portrait of our favorite "Charlotte" doll...we then made the next logical decision...Lets top some classic cupcakes with porcelain doll heads like our Charlotte.
The color theme is in keeping with our series of paintings that includes The Well Read Raven, Charlotte, and The Recital. We gave our girls a backdrop of vintage style wallpaper and set them atop a classic doily straight from your Grandma's collection.
